U12A League v Fermoy

Score: Lisgoold 1 – 1 Fermoy “A” 6 - 15

Our third U12 League Game took place in Lisgoold on the 5th of May against Fermoy “A” team. In this match we came up against a very strong Fermoy side. From the throw in our back line were under pressure from the Fermoy forwards. Lisgoold goal keeper, Shauna Savage brought off some great saves and the full back line of Rachel McCann, Fiona Murphy and Sarah Kelleher worked very hard throughout the half. The valiant efforts of our midfielders and half forwards paid off with our goal and point being scored before half time. Throughout the second half Fermoy were once again very strong. It is a tribute to our girls that despite the score they never hung their heads and gave their all throughout the game. Well done to everybody involved.
