A vastly improved improvement from our U14 girls saw us come up short in a most entertaining tie against St Colmans at a blustery and bitterly cold Pairc Lios gCul on Sunday morning last. Deprived of a number of regulars through injury, and with an injury restricted Cara O'Brien confined to goal, our girls put up a brave show in extremely trying circumstances.
Ella O'Brien continued her "goal - a game" start to the season and she was ably assisted in attack throughout by Donna McCann , Stephanie O'Driscoll and Lorraine O'Driscoll and Jody Townend .
Kelsey Devine played superbly in a great all round performance while Siomha Walshe and Caoilin Hickey covered miles of ground in a tremendous midfield preformance. Danielle O'Keeffe was again the player of the match for Lisgoold, and she was well supported by Elizabeth Hegarty , Aoife Roche , Aoife Healy , Laura Walsh and Kate Ruane in a well drilled defense
