Coaches Dan Kelleher and Liz Power brought their young charges to a peak performance at a windy, damp but bright and sunny Pairc Lios gCul on Sunday morning, and, powered by brilliant performances from Sinead O'Brien, Niamh Power, Orla Fleming and Sarah Kelleher, the Under 10 girls forced their way to another decider with a 5.3 to 0.1 win over our neighbours from Caherlag.

Playing into a stiff breeze in the opening half, our forwards settled well with impressive displays from Sarah Murphy and Alanah Russell. The powerful Nicole O'Keeffe and Erin Nagle in supported super goalscorers Laura Whelan and Ellen Flynn to take early control of the encounter.

When forced on the back foot, the backs stood solid, with the solid and dependable Rachel McCann, Aoibhe Savage, Fiona Murphy and Grace O'Driscoll leading the way in protecting Brittany Devine's goal.

An all round most enjoyable game, played by two well coached and sporting sides, saw us emerge victors and into the final , where we will play Bride Rovers.
