The first half of this match was very evenly contested with the scores tied at half time. Despite scoring first in the second half the superior strength and fitness of the Watergrasshill girls swung the game decisively in their favour and Watergrasshill ran out comfortable winners in the end. True to form, our girls never gave up and played their hearts out from start to finish and were rewarded with some impressive scores throughout the encounter.This is the last U16 match of this year and the team management would like to thank all the girls for their time and commitment throughout the season. It was a privilege to work with this team. We would like to wish the U14 members of the team the best of luck in the East Cork League final , and Watergrasshill the very best in the remainder of this Championship.
